Vol. Languages · American Sign Language
Fingerspelling, numbers, and a short vocabulary, drawn as original diagrams. Practice with Leitner flashcards, two quizzes, a fingerspelling reader, and a spell-it drill. Progress stays in this browser. You can save it to a text file and load it back.

Alphabet
Nothing left in this round. Due cards come back when their box interval is up. New cards start in box 1.

A handshape, then four answers.
A word or letter, then four handshapes.
A word is spelled one letter at a time. Type what you saw.
_ _ _
The word stays visible. Match each letter.
Box 1 is reviewed again the same day. Box 2 waits a day, then 3 days, 7, and 16. A miss sends the card back to box 1. A day of practice adds to the streak.
Check the movement on video
The drawings are original and simplified. J and Z move. Numbers 11–20 move. Most vocabulary signs move. An arrow or a numbered frame is not timing, and it is not facial expression. If a diagram and a reference video disagree, trust the video and a Deaf teacher. Regional signs differ. This set leaves out anything the page is not sure of.
A beginner aid. ASL is a full language with its own grammar, used by Deaf communities. These diagrams are not a class and not a substitute for Deaf instructors.

Palm toward you, the signer's right hand, thumb on the right of the drawing, unless the text says the palm faces in, down, or to the side. A dot on the small figure is the location: forehead, chin, chest, and so on. Arrows and numbered frames stand in for movement. If your system asks for less motion, the arrows stay still.
The same handshape can be a letter and a number. V and 2, O and 0, F and 9. The label says which set you are in. The quizzes do not mix those sets.
This clears letters, numbers, vocabulary, streaks, and quiz scores stored in this browser. A file you already saved is not deleted.
